Bumi Armada Awards Contracts to Nam Cheong for Four DP 2 Multi-Purpose Platform Support Vessels

28 February 2013 – Following the Letter of Intent issued to Nam Cheong Dockyard Sdn Bhd (“NCD”) on 20 June 2012 for four Multi-Purpose Platform Support Vessels (“MPSV”) plus the option of another four, Bumi Armada Berhad is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Armada Offshore MPSV Limited has entered into four contracts to purchase four units of DP2* diesel-electric MPSVs with Nam Cheong International Ltd (“NCIL”) under the company’s newbuild programme – Steel on Water 2 (“SOW 2”). The total value of the contracts is approximately USD130 million (excluding owner furnished equipment).
