Bumi Armada’s Townhall

Bumi Armada (the Company) held its second Townhall Meeting of 2016 at the Sapphire Ball Room, Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on 31 May 2016.

The meeting was attended by over 300 employees based in Kuala Lumpur and other employees at the global offices joined via video conferencing. The meeting started off with a safety moment from the hotel and BAB HSSEQ representative Roland Sinnadurai and then an introduction to new CEO Mr Leon Harland. Mr. Leon gave a view of the company from his first weeks and CFO Mr. Kenny Murdoch presented the financial results for the first quarter of 2016. It was an interactive session with Mr. Leon as he responded to questions from employees and in turn asked questions as well.

In addition, there was a long service award session dedicated to employees who had served the company for 5 years and above. Mr. Leon presented them with an award and congratulated them for their service to Bumi Armada.

The event was a success and it ended with employees adjourning for tea and light snacks.
