Bumi Armada Announces New Appointment to the Board

Kuala Lumpur, 10 April 2017 – Malaysia-based international offshore energy facilities and services provider Bumi Armada Berhad (“Bumi Armada” or the “Company”), today announced the appointment of Mr Uthaya Kumar K Vivekananda (“Mr VU Kumar”), a Malaysian, as an additional Director of the Company, in an Independent and Non-Executive capacity. His appointment will take immediate effect i.e. 10 April 2017. He has also been appointed as a member of the Audit Committee, Remuneration Committee and Nomination & Corporate Governance Committee.
