FPSO offers cost effective solution for the development of marginal fields with short production life span on remotely located fields isolated from existing infrastructure. As an early production system, this concept also provides quality data for a better understanding of the complex reservoir thus reducing the risk for full field development in addition to providing productions operation experiences and early revenue to the field owner.
