Frost & Sullivan names Bumi Armada "Oil & Gas Service Provider of the Year"
On 12 May 2010, Bumi Armada was named “Oil & Gas Service Provider of the Year” in a glittering ceremony in Kuala Lumpur. Receiving the award at the Frost & Sullivan’s 2010 Malaysia Excellence Awards, was the company's Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Hassan Basma.
Elaborating on the awards selection process, Pn Jafizwaty Haji Ishahak, Frost & Sullivan’s associate director and chairwoman of the Malaysia Excellence Awards, said, “The market is scanned by our leading analysts, who track the individual business sector closely. Companies that stand out in this research are short-listed and further evaluated against each other by a regional team of Frost & Sullivan experts who eventually identify the deserving recipients.”

FPSO Armada Perkasa achieves 10 million barrels
The Armada Perkasa which is based in the Okoro Setu field, off shore Nigeria, achieved 10 million barrels of oil production on 16 April, having operated with 100% uptime since it began operations in 2008.

Bumi Armada Berhad and Bumi Armada Engineering achieved Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000 certification in September 2008, from Det Norske Veritas (DNV). The company now has a sound basic structure for its corporate governance processes and policies with a suite of operating procedures that standardize and improve the way the employees work, for both Corporate and Project processes.
